Journey of Passion, Dedication to the Performing Arts

Photo Lassana

I am Lassana LESTIN, born in the vibrant 10th arrondissement of Paris, where I nurtured my passion for dramatic art. At the age of 12, my first steps on stage were in sketches at the church, an initiatory experience that ignited my fascination for theatre.

This growing passion led me to enroll in a renowned theatre school in the 19th arrondissement. It was there that my vocation crystallized, fully convincing me that my path was that of an actor. The unwavering support of my father was an essential pillar in this decision.

At 19, a linguistic stay in Los Angeles provided the perfect pretext to delve deeper into this artistic universe. Upon my return, theatre classes such as "Scènes d’aujourd’hui," taught by Serge Ridoux, broadened my horizons on classical authors like Molière and Shakespeare. My journey enriched itself by performing within theatre troupes, pursuing studies at Acting International in Paris, and honing my craft under Jack Waltzer in Los Angeles.

In 2009, my baptism of fire on the big screen occurred when I shared the stage with Miou Miou in "Une petite zone de turbulence." Subsequently, a recent collaboration with Kad Mérad in "Just a gigolo" enriched my cinematic journey.

Two awards for interpretation in short films punctuated my artistic path: the first in "Hostage" directed by the talented Ukrainian filmmaker Laura Melange, and the second in "Baby blues" directed by Mamadou Socrate Diop, originally from Senegal.

Currently mentored by John Bellanger, a specialist in the Meisner method, I refine my art and actively prepare for new artistic challenges through auditions.

Meeting new people, participating in international projects, and embodying a multitude of characters deeply inspire me.

Cinema icons like Denzel Washington, Will Smith, Al Pacino, Christian Bale, Eddie Murphy, and Robin Williams have shaped my inspiration. Their performances have fed my emotions, coloring my life with new shades. Their journeys brilliantly illustrate that success is within reach for those who dedicate themselves fully.

One certainty drives me: my love for comedy is genuine and passionate. I nurture the ardent desire for it to propel me towards even more ambitious projects.

My eagerness to immerse myself in new experiences, whether on stage or in front of the camera, is an endless source of energy.
